23 August - WON the GROUP 1 Prix Morny at Deauville beating Gr.2 winners Special Duty & Canford Cliffs in the toughest juvenile race so far this season. He has shot to favouritism for the Gr.1 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket next season and is now the TOP rated juvenile in Europe.
9th July - was a very impressive winner of the Group 2 July Stakes at Newmarket's July meeting. He was a 90,000 Guineas yearling purchase by Johnny.

2 Oct - was a good second in the GROUP 1 Middle Park at Newmarket over 6 furlongs, running on.
21 August - was a running on third in the GROUP 1 Nunthorpe Stakes at York, taking on older horses over this 5 furlongs.
18 June - stormed to a decisive VICTORY by 3 lengths having been almost knocked over a furlong from home in the GROUP 2 Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot.
19 Sept - was fourth in the GROUP 2 Mill Reef Stakes at Newbury when plainly not staying the 6 furlong trip.

6th August - WON GROUP 2 Debutante Stakes over 7 furlongs at the Curragh in impressive fashion.
1st June - WON GROUP 3 Coolmore Stud Fillies' Sprint Stakes over 6 furlongs at Naas by an impressive 2.5 lengths.
19 June - was a very good second in the GROUP 3 Albany Stakes over 6 furlongs at Royal Ascot.

20 Aug - a very decent second in the GROUP 2 Lowther Stakes at the York Ebor meeting pulling a long way clear of the third.
19 Sept - fourth in GROUP 3 Firth of Clyde Stakes at Ayr over 6 furlongs, when the runners split into two groups - she comfortably won her side but, as was the case all meeting, the stands side were majorly disadvantaged.
Purchased as a yearling for £55,000 by Johnny. Her dam, Compradore, was purchased by Oliver.

Her dam, My Lass, was purchased for €27,000 at the 2008 Goffs November Sale by Oliver for Newsells Park Stud, carrying to Exceed & Excel (she had a nice filly and is in-foal to exciting new stallion Mount Nelson).

14th March - just failed to hold on when beaten a nose in the GRADE 2 Mervyn Muniz Jr. Memorial Handicap over 9 furlongs on turf.
He is the first foal of a half sister to the 2007 filly by Giant's Causeway out of the US Champion Jewel Princess, which we bought last September.

We had a very successful time at the Doncaster Breeze-Up and Tattersalls Craven Breeze-Up sales - buying 15 horses for just under £800,000. We were leading buyer at Doncaster.
Our three principle purchases were a Danehill Dancer colt at 120,000 Guineas that will be trained by Richard Gibson, and a Dubawi colt at 115,000 Gns. & an Invincible Spirit filly at 110,000 Gns.
Oliver was also underbidder to Darley on the top priced breezer - a Medaglia d'Oro colt at 260,000 Gns.
